Hydaulic Press Hook-Up

Each time you put a wrench on them and loosen the threads you cause a bit of wear and have to reseal a little tighter. Giving the poppet ball a tap does the same thing. It helps if you wiggle the valve handles after tapping the ball too.
My problem is holding the sliding sleeve back so the balls move to the release position which lets things slide together easier...
