When I use the FEL on my MF1010, I usually have to rev it at least to 1500 RPM to keep the bucket going all the way when dumping a load. If not it will slowly go down till about 3/4 of the way and stop. If I rev it up, it will finish out the full extension.

What are my possible causes? This thing is a '98 model. Someone before me, had replaced the upper cylinders with the wrong type and the cylinders move when the bucket does. That is a problem I will have to address later, but not sure if it is a causal issue or not.

Also I see some tractors, when they scoop up a load, their bucket will tilt back far enough to look more like a skip loader than a tractor. Are these special setups?

I had a similar problem on my MF 1010. If you haven't done so, verify that the hydraulics are strong by trying to lift a load. Next, with a load in the bucket, let it set for a while to see if the bucket droops (down or tilt). I could stand in mine and it would tilt down with time. If it does, you may have a bad seal. I replaced the o-rings in my cylinders and it worked fine. Finally, there could be damage to the internal bore of the cylinder. A repair shop may be able to repair the cylinder.

It isn't clear what you mean by "the cylinders move when the bucket does". Obviously when the cylinders extend or retract the bucket moves. Can you clarify?

The bucket should tilt back to the hard stops. I wonder if the replacement cylinders are longer than the originals so they don't retract as far as they should.

Check pump pressure, if low then make sure all valves are centered, no relief valve is open(maybe 3pt is all the way up and going into relief). Next the boom clys seals are rear bad.

I mean the cylinder moves when the rod extends. Imstead of therod extending and the cylinder housing remaining still. These are not original. Somone replaced with wrong ones.

Thanks for the clarification. Let us know if you find a replacement cylinder.

Pictures needed.

What is the model number on the loader?

So your bucket curl cylinders are mounted just opposite of these?

It doesn't make any Difference the cyls are still pushing and have the same power. Flipping the cyls well only help the hose routing.
