Hyd. pump ID help.

I recently purchased a Nissan forklift, was able to get a good deal due to hyd. fluid entering the crankcase. I pulled the pump off and sure enough the front shaft seal lip was partly flipped over, I am going to pull the pump appart to inspect to see if the overpressure at the front shaft is due to wear or some other cause like a bad Internal seal or clogged drainback passage.

So far I havent been able to find any parts for the pump or even the shaft seal, unfortunately the numbers on the seal got damaged during the removal so I only have a partial number and haven't been able to cross it. Being the day before a holiday I couldn't get ahold of a few online suppliers, out local industrial supply house couldn't match the seal and the local hydraulics shop closed down a number of years ago.

Hoping someone on here might be able to help ID the manufacturer of the pump or help me find someone that can get parts for it.

Pump numbers are 69101-14H00, I also found a affordable NOS 69101-04H00v pump but without knowing the number breakdown it's hard to say what the difference might be.

A new pump is about $5-600 so not terrible, but hate to just replace the pump if it ends up being a simple fix.

Well after hours and hours of searching I found a seal in a Timken catalog that should work, of course nobody stocks it so I have to order it and wait to see.

In the meantime I pulled the pump appart and found a failed seal internally that caused the shaft seal failure.

I think I found the internal seals I need but being a holiday nobody was open so hopefully I can get moving on this tomorrow.

Could you measure the shaft diameter, bore diameter and depth? Maybe you could source it from any hydraulic shop by size. Instead of pump model. I've replaced a couple seals on pumps just by size. Going by pump model, sometimes it's just so overpriced.

That's what I did, took a couple catalogs to find something close enough. Unfortunately theres very few decent hyd. shops in my area anymore and most of them just want to do hoses and repack cylinders.
Hopefully tomorrow I can get a price on the seals and decide if I'm rebuilding or replacing.

Well nobody local was of any help, spent a few more hrs. cross referencing part #'s. Found out some New Holland tractors use a pump that appears to have identical seals, the seal kit was over $300! but it gave me more part #'s to work with. Little more digging and found a seal set on Ebay for a CAT forklift that should work, figured $50 was worth it, hopefully be here by the end of next week.

Worst case, if this doesn't work I'll be buying a new pump.

Got the pump put back together and seems to be working fine. Unfortunately the front seal that came in the kit was for the larger shaft pump. Since the shaft had some light grooving I decided to just machine and harden a wear sleeve/space and press it together with some loctite 640, turned out well.
Also had to open up the seals bore on the front of the pump .065" for the new seal.

Hopefully the repair will last my lifetime.

Thanks, I should have gotten some pictures, but it was hot out and I was in "get it done" mode.
Thought about just ordering the right front seal, but didnt feeling like waiting over a week and spending another $20, I justified modifying the pump by the fact the shaft showed a little wear
