I have a 199? L2350DT with a LB400 loader. Today the loader did not want to work when the joystick was moved to the "down" position. All other positions worked (dump, down, roll back, etc.). I also noticed a small leak of hydraulic fluid coming from the bottom of the hydraulic unit in the area where the hoses attach. There are 3 or 4 small Allen head screws where the leak is coming from. The amount of fluid leaked was about enough to fill a bottle cap. Is there anything I can look for to make my bucket dump and repair the leak before I have to take it to the local mechanic? Any help is appreciated. As a relatively new tractor owner, I have learned many new things on this forum.......thanks in advance for any advice...kurt in georgia

Have you try to tighten the screws also check your hydraulic fluid level.
