Hyd fluid?

Can somebody give me a list of specs or brand names for Hydraulic fluid for
a CK30? A place near me has "Premier tractor fluid". My dealer sold me Gilco, but he's 45 miles away. How many gallons does it take? I need to grab some on the way home from work and don't have any of my info with me. Thanks, Mike

I just picked up 7 gallons yesterday at TSC. It's what I used at the 50 hour mark - no problems at 232 hours. If HST - make sure it says hydro/trans fluid.

Your owner's manual lists several name brand fluids. I have had
good luck with Chevron's 1000 THF colored fluid, which is rated for
wet brakes and HSTs. Expect 7 gal for a naked tractor, 8 for one with
FEL and 9 or more with hoe. That assumes articulating the attachments
to remove some of the trapped fluid.

Best way to get this stuff is from your local brand oil company
distributor. Still, 10-12 clams per gallon is what it costs, minimum.
Always keep a 5 gallon bkt on hand for those hose "accidents".
