My B7300 has developed quite a leak around the FEL control valve. I have had this tractor for about 6 months and have yet to remove the FEL. Is it common for the quick connect fittings to develop leaks? My first thought is to clean up as much of the mess as I can and then remove and re-attatch all the fittings. Are there any other common causes for leaking in this area that I might check out? Thanks in advance for your help.

I worked as a mechanic at a kubota dealership for 13 years and had noticed that kubota does not put thread seal tape on the quick couplers at the factory. When I used to set up the new loaders I would take the quick couplers off and put teflon tape on them. Sometimes the o-ring and backup ring in the quick coupler could be damaged also. I would check to see if the dealer put any kind of thread sealer on the couplers.
