Hustler SuperZ anyone?

This is my first zero turn mower and I think I like grass cutting now. 52" 25hp. kawasaki. Anyone familiar with or have any problems/bad experiences with these mowers?

Can't speak about the Hustler personally, but it's hard to beat a well built ZTR. Also, I do like the toque curve on the Kaw. I did kill the 21HP once [also a 52" deck], but it was on grass that was so tall it was coming out of chute in a windrow!

Century, When I was looking at Z's hustler super Z was one that I was considering , Very good machine IMO...good parker pumps ,25hp kawasaki is a good motor, I really liked the active cooling for the hydro's and the engine cooler ... The ZTR I finally ended up with has that motor , Its been fine for the one season I've had it so-far. If you got the Super Z, You have the pro-street of breed!!! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Thanks everyone, glad to hear positive remarks. I liked the air cushion, weight adjustable seat so well I got one for my Tractor. They are cool and comfy.

I was just going to point out that just like going from a ToroZ to a ZX to a Zmaster; or a RZT to ZF50 to M54; even if the Fastrak looks something like a Mini Z, the transmission (and likely other features) is an entirely different animal.

For a couple acres, there may not be an issue, but marketing guys are pretty slick, so you have to really look at all the apples when buying a machine anymore.

I have a Fastrac 52" with 20 hp Honda engine, makes mowing fun, plus I can mow my grass in about 3/4 the time it took me and my wife on 42" lawn tractors both mowing. The added bonus is that I have about 1/3 the trimming after I mow. Nothing but good things to say about Hustler.
