I have one 22", with a Briggs and Stratton, one tine bent, hit the side guard. Removed side guard and has worked relatively good for me(with minor backwoods tinkering) for over 5yrs. I always shut fuel off and run it dry when I lay it up for extended time, change oil once a year, and grease the gear box (it has a fitting). Imo if the price is right it's a worthwhile handy tool in my experience with it.
