Odd question: Will the oil level appear similarly regardless of if I checked in the small rear hole toward the rear of tranny as opposed to the much larger diameter fill hole toward the front of the tranny, under the plastic fan above the pulley?
With my transmission still mounted in place, I've taken the rear "check hole" cap off (the smaller diameter of the two, the hole toward the rear of the tranny ...cause I can get to it and pry cap out!) and checked the fluid level and it appears quite low. It would be a LOT harder to try and pry out the other cap on the larger diameter hole (with the magnet standing vertically in it). But again, to my question, would the fluid level appear the same in BOTH HOLES, or, are they somehow separated by internal walls/duct-work and one could get a different reading depending on which hole they're checking and adding fluid into...
Hope that makes sense. I'm assuming the level will appear the same regardless of which hole I check.
