Huskie lawn tractors? Any recomendations?

I need to get something for just mowing lawn for the time beaing. And maybe hauling around a small graden type trailer. Around 2 acres to cut. I was looking at all the differant brands and prices. Eventually I will get somehitng larger. But for now the budget donet not allow it.
I cant see sepending $2500 on a riding mower when in a few years I will be spending 10k or so for a real tractor.

I see that Tractor Supply Company has Huskie 21hp 46 inch cut, manual trans tractors for somehting just under $1200. This seems to be a very fair price from what I ahve found.

Any ideas suggestions comments? About my plans, this particular tracter, etc?

For $1200 you will be better served with a Craftsman or Poulan from Sears. They often have sales and 10% off etc which will allow you to get quite a mower for the money. The Huskee is made by MTD, and is in my opinion lesser quality than the Sears offerings made by AYP.

Just that to get a 46 inch cut at Sears, it is going to run me a lot closer to $2k.

And I have a descent amount to cut. And also I will be using it to pull a trailer for some odds and ends, like horse manure. So, I really dont want to go under 20 hp.
