Husked splitter won't start.

Hi folks! I tried to edit the "Husked" typo butto no avail....sorry. I have a 22 ton Huskee log splitter with a B&S 6.75E engine. I have spark and air and I have gas to the carb. It's a fuel delivery problem....dah..... If I give it a shot of ether if fires. Have gas in the Bowl. Float is working as I can blow on the gas line nipple and raise and lower the float and its passing and air and shuts off asi raise and lower the float with my finger. There is a red primer bulb that you depress 3Xs to prime but I do not see any fuel being induced into the throat of the carb. I know about the ethanol gas and clogging issues. I need help....please. If gas is not fresh I would replace and with ethanol free. Use wd-40 and not ether and keep it running for a minute or two and see if that works. I would also use Sea Foam carb cleaner at strong ratio. If jets in carb are jelled up by ethanol probably will have to be cleaned. Oh, the choke is working and your are using it?

On the primer bulb they do crack and have to be replaced but even it fine it may need several pumps.

I had a similar problem with 2 engines. Had spark and fuel but no start except with ether. Put in new spark plug and started with first pull.
Weak or worn spark plug??
