Trying not to violate any forum rules here... but:

To any of you who are so inclined, those of us in florida would surely appreciate a quick prayer... wilma is beginning to look a tad .. uh.. intimidating.

thanks,

You and your family are in our prayers, Soundguy. I hope it's not as bad as it looks.

My oldest sister and her husband are about 10 miles southeast of Tampa. While I'm saying a few words for them, I'll mention you and your family, as well as all the rest of those who may be effected.

Good luck!

Things will change rapidly once Wilma takes a turn though..... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Good thing we've got the 12kW genny and 250 gallons of #2 diesel. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

how far are you from Vero, my mothers there for another week. Do you think it will go over it ?
Thanks Ernie

Just my luck I'll have to bring the tractor down from TN to clean up. I couldn't decide on a an appropriate instant face for that thought as so many of them apply.

The forcast map keeps changing, moving Wilma's expected landfall point a little further north each time. I typically don't get wigged out about this sort of thing but I'm more concerned now than I think I've ever been in my 35 yrs here.

Tell her to get out of Vero now. It will begine moving faster once it take a hook into Florida and that means that the devastation will be about the same on both coasts, East and West.
