I've been using it for several years at my remote house. It beats the heck out of dial up, but if it's available I'd take cable over satellite any day. I haven't used DSL personally, but suspect it's better than Satellite too. The big issue is the latency out to space and back. Web browsing works pretty good, and big downloads are very good. VPN works, but is painfully slow (might as well be dial up).
