HST Oil

Good day. For people from the Canadian market, has anyone used Petro Canada Duratrant XL synthetic blend oil. the only oil that I can get locally besides the Kioti UTF55 is the Duratrant and in the book it doesn’t specify if that is a Petro Canada product or not. Thanks.

I have never used it, but there are a lot of good oils on the market to include from Tractor supply.

No Tractor supply where I live unfortunately.

Maybe try to search it again, but with the correct spelling. It’s DURATRAN. No T on the end of the word. However I’m using Amsoil synthetic Tractor Hydraulic oil in my CK30HST and at 400 hours on the oil a UOA showed very little wear metal etc and was advised good until next service. Very happy with the cold weather performance, especially when blowing snow.

Minor spelling mistake. Regardless I think if anyone was using it they would have known what I was asking. By the lack of responses I guess no one is.

Maybe your local store can order in what you want? Might better try for a full synthetic Oil if they would.

Yes I know I can get that here, but the only other oil I can get is Kioti. No stores carry any of the other oils listed. I’ve been either to or called them all. The Duratran listed by Kioti is semi synthetic. I wanted to use regular Duratran oil because it’s about $40 cheaper a pail and I don’t get the cold to justify the extra cost for semi synthetic.

That appears to be a hydraulic oil, not suitable for use in transmission / hydraulic applications like your tractor.
