HPX Gator transaxel clutch

i have a gator HPX, the transaxel clutch is making a rattling noise. i can spin the inner half of the sheave while holding the spring pack still. i am assuming this shouldnt be possible. any insights?

ok i changed out the rear clutch, it was shot.
another issue i have with this gator, it eats front tires like crazy. any ideas?

Yooper has a good suggestion...but I don't think there are too many Gator owners on TBN.

As far as "eating front tires", what do you mean? Overall wear? Wear on the outer or inner part of the tread?
Pictures would be handy.
Normally, overall wear indicates low tire pressure...wear on the outer or inner part of the tread could be toe-in, toe-out or camber.
