No, but I did see it. I figured I'd just get both at the same time.

Tried to post this once, hope it dont repeat ~~~

Be careful with the brake cleaning spray. For it will swell gaskets & rubbers seats ~~~~ Kinda caught the end of the conversation, but we used to use this on high pressure tankers / tanks that the gaskets leaked, it swelled 'em up just enough to stop the leaks. Hope I'm not a pokin' in, for I don't know what you are going to use it for, but please don't use it like carb cleaner for Gods sake ~~~~~~~~~~

na !jump on in .i don't think there are any gaskets on the clutch. atleast i did't see any.they have some white plastic shims and they were clogged with belt dust .it's real hard to push in the clutch or should i say squeaze them together but before i cleaned mine i couldn't but after i could move them a little.mabye try some "breakfree" it's in the gun section too it a good cleaner too. leave the brake cleaner alone then. i was thinkin there is a seal behind the clutch it would be hard to get anything on it but better safe than sorry. so first choice i would use "powder blast" if they don't have that then try "break free" and then srap it with the remington oil with the teflon make sure you get all of them in the spray cans.that little tubes works like a pressure washer. hey maybe some good old carberator cleaner but i never tried that but it might work just as good.

got it saved in favorites and i'm gonna read up on it but hey i'm all for bringing some coonass some work!! and hey don't worry about jumping in if someone reads something and they think it might cause damage by all means jump in before it does the damage. but i think he would be safe cleaning the clutch but just to be on the safe side i would try to get the two cleaners or the carberator cleaner other than the brake cleaner first like you said.i'm gonna read up on the lube you posted i use alot of it too lol.

Bleh, I hate working on the gator. Everything is so scrunched together. Anyway I blew it out a bit and it seems to be better. I'm going to leave it at that for now. I need to get a new splash guard but I can't even figure out how to get my old one off without a lot of work.

650 hours. 1 year. It's not a wear issue it's an abuse issue. :p

/ HPX driveline problems #34
Yea, we've all been there before ~~~~

Years ago I got spanked in the pocket book on something I abused.

I'm a quick learner !!!!

Yeah I dunno what it is but when I got rid of my 03 6x4 in the spring of 06 I only had something like 400 hours on it but I've put 50% more hours on my HPX in about half the time probably since it's actually a little over a year. ( may 06 IIRC)
