I've also noticed the ratings are done by the manufacturer of the engine in many cases. What the heck was wrong with listing hp, been that way for years? Maybe they're screwing with ratings so much they need to hide the real facts? Maybe they think by rating an {example}engine 850 series or 205 cc or {this is the 1st one that threw me} 8.50 gross torque, it will make the engine seem stronger then it is? Of course at a quick glance they would have labeled the engine 8.50 which us older folks would have thought 8.5hp.
