Hoye Turf Kit - How much Wider

Does anyone know what the new width of their tractor is with the Turf Tire kit from Hoye? the spec's say that my 2020D is 48 inches wide and I have a narrow stall where I house my tractor....Want to make sure I can still use the stall with turf tires. Thanks

Each one of the kits is built to order. We can make them in any width you want. Typically we make them with around 8.5" sticking out from your rear axle flange on each side but again, you can pick any spacing narrower than that if you need to fit some place narrower.

Aaron. I have seen a 186d with what looks like a mmm and factory turf tire set up. They look pretty wide in the rear and like a big garden tractor. Did some of these tractors come with factory turf tires and is that what you have made your wheels patterend after. Thanks

I think all of the US models had an optional turf package. The original 186 turf kit used a little narrower tire than our turf kit but is the same basic principal. I guess I didn't really pattern it after anything other than a (relatively) inexpensive alternative to the aggressive lug tires and something wider to give a little added stability. Below is a picture of the tires used on most of our kits.

I have a 60 inch bucket and would not want to go wider than that and that also keeps me within the confines with my storage too. Do these tires get close to the 3pt? Is that a concern?

Normally the kit is offset wider than the factory wheels giving you MORE room for the three point arms to swing out and is not a concern at all. If you wanted to have the wheels made with less backspacing (narrower stance) then they could possibly interfere with the three point. If you could measure the width of your rear axle hubs I could tell you how wide the turf kit would end up.

Looks like its 7 inches wide. Its hard to get an exact measurement from the back side because the axle is in the way. If its needs to be accurate I can remove a rim/tire and measure the face. Let me know

Scotty, I'm butting in here which is not unusual, however, I mean well. I believe Aaron wants the measurement from one side of the tractor to the other from the outside face of the wheel hubs.

I was thinking the same thing but when he mentioned the width of the wheel hubs I was wondering if that had something to do with the off set. I measured the axle from hub edge to hub edge and that is 42 inches...

It looks like if your rear hubs are 42" wide then with the standard backspacing you would be 59" wide overall.

I would probably get them made a little narrower though just to allow room for the tire to bulge out a little if it HAD to be under 60" wide.
