Does anyone use the quick detach clutch, is it supposed to be flush to the back of the pto? Greased up pto and clutch really well, but there's still an inch of space. I just want to make sure that it's attached correctly.

You can tell when it is in the right spot because the spring loaded pin in the clutch will snap back in place. The pin has to slide into the groove in the PTO shaft. Also be sure you trim your PTO shaft if needed to accommodate for the extra length of the clutch and use only 1st PTO gear.

Thanks for the reply, the pin did snap back so it sounds like everything is good to go. I was worried if it wasn't on there correctly it would become a projectile so I wanted to be sure.
