So what happened to Howse?
Been searching this morning and found a little information about an auction this week for the buildings/intellectual property.....
Their website is down and FB page has September as last activity from "them". Just wondering.

I don't know but I'm glad my brother talked me into buying a Woods bush hog instead of a Howse because of parts availability!

Wow. Howse has been around a while.

I have a Howse BB but I'd guess if I ever need parts I can make some other parts work. Only thing to replace is blade and scarifiers. Like Shaneard glad I have another brand cutter.

If I had Howse equipment like a bush hog, I sure wouldn't worry about it. Gear boxes are available anywhere as are blades which are pretty standard hole size just need to know the length and you can get them at TSC and just about any farm and ranch store. Drive shafts are also pretty easy to get new ones to fit if needed.
I have owned Howse equipment before and found it to be very good and priced right. Maybe the low pricing is what got them in trouble.

I wouldn't worry about it either but it's gonna kill the resale value.

I got my bb cheap used and will likely have it till I die so resale doesn't matter here.

Shouldn't have much effect on a bb, they don't have any moving parts unless you have a rollover or one with teeth on a bar that goes up and down. I was talking about bush hogs.

I have an Howse M400 which is a 48 inch rotary cutter (bush hog) and back in Sept 2015 purchased a set of new blades from them. They are different than other manufacturers as I tried at TC and another farm supply but had no luck. Glad I did now since reading this bad news about them closing. Bob
