I've lurked for a while, made an account, and finally decided to say hi.
I've found this site quite valuable for keeping myself sane while away from home. I've been able to read about outdoor wood boilers, which I plan to install, research implements that I need (or is it just want) and entertain myself. I spend quite a bit of time mostly on car forums as I have a couple of rice burners that would probably impress almost anyone, and from reading this forum, it seems one off the most versed, mature, welcoming, and helpful communities I have come across.
I'm currently deployed to Afghanistan so any time I can mentally check in elsewhere is nice. I purchased my home in the summer of 2011 from my grandmother before she passed even through a family feud was able to keep a small parcel of what's left of the family farm in the family. I started renovating the house but this little trip has gotten in my way.
One of the first things I purchased after the house was a JD 3520 with 300cx loader and 60" deck with only 170 hours for a steep discount from a new machine, that's what led me here. That thing comes in handy.
Hope to enjoy my stay,
JRM
