Hey guy's, I'm new so I thought I'd introduce myself.
My name's Andy
I'm a forest thinning contractor in the Sacramento Mountains in Southern New Mexico. As far as tractors go, I've got a Terex PT-100G, an ASV 4810, a John Deere 440b log skidder, and I don't know if it count's as a tractor but.....a Polaris Ranger.
I look forward to doing some learning, and brain picking. Heck I might even throw my 2 cents in once in a while.

Kinda sorta, but not really. :laughing:
Most of what we remove are small diameter trees. Sometimes a thinning job is solicited as a "pre comercial thinning". Doing work for private land owners through the State Forestry, sometimes we do get to take some bigger trees.
