Looking forward to the forum... I'm 60 yrs old and retired from farming but still look after the farm, only someone else is worrying about rain now. Old Green is my interest. Hope I can help someone.

Thanks... I have the 1952 JD B my Dad bought new and just finished plowing my garden with its #44H plow. Has the newer 3 pc HS44NC bottoms on it vs. the 2 pc. wrought iron bottoms on Dad's old 44H plow down in the woods. Put new points on it and it dug so deep I had to re-set the plow. Also have its #5 sickle mower and model R manure spreader (flat tire.) Got Dad's "66 JD 2510 he bought when I was 14. Has a JD 47 front end loader on it. Was always my job to keep the equipment running.

Thanks Eddie, I live on the Nottoway between Homeville and the Courthouse. Off 35. An RN at Southside Regional. Biggest problem is cleaning the grease out of my fingernails prior to nursing at the hospital 3 days a week. You must be on the other side of 460.

This is me cultivating peanuts in front of Dad's house, Ca. 1991. It's the other B that he sold ser. #274881 Brought $1500. Had to drive it on the trailer for him because he had no idea how to run it and I had tears when it left after the sale.
