Kubota BX2200, Kubota B2410
Well, the 2410 and the BX are doing well. Homestead took a hit last year with the ice storm, lot's of tree damage here in Kansas. Kubota 2410 saved the day. Later in the Spring the drive washed out and the 2410 earned her keep yet again. The BX is mowing around the hanger down south and tending parents place. Most of my kinfolk down in south Louisiana and New Orleans have relocated forever to higher ground. Course, I did that long ago. Both tractors are doing super, zero issues.
Just wanted to say hello, have not been in here in a while, hope all are having a great Christmas and healthy and happy new year to come.

Mr. Bird, how have you been? Glad to hear from you.

We had some snow a few weeks ago but it is pretty warm this week. Plowed the drive and road down to the shop. The tractor is still earning the keep. The 'bota got an oil change and new filters for Christmas. Not much has been happening really, kind of boring, I suppose that is good. You almost wish it would break so I could fix on it some! Here is a picture of brush pile I just burned, put the 2410 to work stacking it up. The ice storm last winter really made a mess and we are still cutting down limbs. Snow is fun because the tractor can come out and play but trust me, ice, not good. Well, I will try in drop in more often, going in fifty directions at once. I have decided at some point we may relocate, not any time soon, down the road. My wife was discussing a condo!!! I told her, well, that will be fine as long as there is room in the garage for the 2410. I told her that I don't care if there is only a patch of grass four feet by four feet, I will go get on the Kubota and crank her up and mow that grass while sipping my Community Coffee.
Oh, I see on the news we have a burn ban here now, hmmm.
See you guys around. J

Hey there, Tres and Bird! Just back myself! Had to sell the BX couple years ago, thoguht I would get over the tractor withdrawal, but no go. Now trying to figger out which tractor to buy all over again...what fun!!! And a whole new round of mods...can't wait.

Hey Bird, ever get another tractor???

BTW, down to the JD 2305 w/200cx loader and the new BX2350....now if only I could get my paws on the new BX to check it out.... /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

If you think it's warm there, you oughta be here. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Record high temperatures, dry, hot, windy, etc. A condo???? I reckon I could adapt to most anything, but it wouldn't be by choice. For family reasons, I had to sell my tractor and place in the country just over 3 years ago; moved back to town in an apartment for nearly a year, then a little mobile home next door to a daughter for two years, and in September bought a little house in town on a 70' x 130' lot. My tractor days may be over; just ride around on my little Toro ZTR, which is of course, tremendous overkill for my place. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Naturally, I'd rather be out in the country, but this ain't bad and I can go 12' out the back door, across the breezeway into my little 21' x 25' "shop". My grandson gave me a plaque at Christmas to put over the door "GRANDADDY'S HIDE-A-WAY". /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Tres Crows, Ola mi compadre! The site has missed you!

Wish I was there for that burn pile; could have made a cobbler in the dutch oven and cooked it in the coals. Maybe toss a roast in the second dutch oven, with some garlic, potato, and onion, and whatever other stuff struck a fancy. Just thinking about it, I wanna go home and get a burn going so I could cook /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Hello, was by the Kubota place a few weeks ago for filters and such and was looking at the new models. I am sure y'all been talking about them. Looks like some nice improvements but alas I will have to make do--lol--with the old 2410! A fellow at work just picked up a new JD, was by his place to help move some stuff (poor back) and anyways it was a nice unit.
Sold the BX huh Charliebrn, well, we better get you back on something /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. Once a tractor man always a tractor man. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif. What better way to start the new year than with a new (used) tractor?
It is amazing how time flys by, it seems like yesterday I found this place and my shiny new BX. Thanks everyone for all the help, no I have not lost interest in tractors, I am just a very struck with wanderlust and go off in strange directions sometimes. Glad to hear from so many of the old timers here. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
