I am a retired person who manages/owns a substantial Long Leaf crop which has been in our family since the 1850's. My last name is the same as my great-grandfather who founded the town
and my first is, Bernard.
I use a Kubota L2130 2WD which is complemented by 1 Landpride finish mower, 1 Fred Cain square box HD cutter, 1 5 ft. box blade, a rake and a large adj. disc. All this equipment I use constantly,
though slowing down in the short winter months.
Most all of our pineland is replanted naturally, tho I do plant by hand in areas which may require after a harvest. Most of our forrest is 85+ year old growth and very hardy.
