Hi there neighbor from NC. I'm in Caswell County. Sounds like the time to set up the stand, if you haven't already. Have you seen a lot of turkeys also? Our dog keeps wanting to go out all during the night, because of the deer outside. 3 weeks ago, coming up the driveway with a load of lumber from Lowe's, there were 6 or 7 turkeys in the middle of the drive. Looks like a good season coming up. And I was worried about the coyotes taking the fawns and poults last year?Good Luck and I sincerely hope you have venison in the freezer :licking: and that nice rack on the wall this season.

Turkeys are doing better this year than the last five, not really sure why. Still have yote, foxes, and coons all the same. Neighbor did cut some timber, probably just pushed them over here.:thumbsup:

Seen 8 or 10 poults, all much bigger than chickens in the last month.
