I posted about trying to sell my tractor in the pricing/buying section, but will ask this question here.
How do I tell what year my tractor is, I looked on receipt but the year is not listed, it was delivered in January of 2008, so I am not sure if its a 2007 or 2008.
I also listed it wrong in the other section its a CK20S HST, I forgot the "S" the first time. It has the KL120 loader on it.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
ED

I saw somewhere where there really is no official year model for most tractors. It basically starts when they are purchased and go into service. Somebody else may chime in with something different, which I would like to see myself.

The first digit of the serial number indicates the year built. D=2004, E=2005, F=2006, etc. The year first sold (and the start of the warranty) could be 0-3 tears later. The next 3 digits of the s/n indicate the exact model/configuration which often runs for several years. The rest of the serial number is just the sequence number within the specific model. Tractors do NOT have model years like cars; styling changes for a certain model are rare although design changes (typically improvements, fixes, or commonality updates) can occur at any time.
