Tractor
05 Kioti CK30HST w/ Prairie Dog backhoe, XN08 mini-X
I saw this video on Youtube, and it is not for the faint-of-heart. I don't
know how long it will be posted, since it is a Kioti CK30 sold by a dealer.
I only happened across this video because it came up on the "related
video" teaser list while posting a video of my own CK30.

I was not so much bothered by all the cracks and dents. What really
bothered me is that the tractor has been and continues to be used
with bolts missing from the loader subframe, and the toplink missing that
goes with the backhoe subframe. In the latter case, some ignoramus has
tried welding the lower parts of the backhoe subframe to combat the
extreme flex you can see when operating the hoe without the toplink.

This is worse abuse than I have seen on the many rental tractors I have
owned!

That tractor has been over stressed, used hard, i'd pass unless the price was too good?

You got to use it to abuse it.

It looks like they asked more from the backhoe than it was up to, otherwise it looks like a used tractor.

To snap them loader bolts like that and break the ram eye let and dipper joint welded on each side of the pin through hole, yea they used it!

Barrett's Equipment is a rental company which evidently rents equipment that should be red flagged and taken out of service. Only a bunch of bums would allow a piece of rental equipment to regress to this level of disrepair.

Yea, look at the 4300 that Dave rebuilt. LOL I wasn't sure it was really a tractor when he started. Sure looks beautiful now though.

I will say this about my experience with owning all my former rentals:
they were used hard, but they were not sent out (by the company I
know best) with missing loader bolts or missing links. And the oil
levels were checked often and actually replaced. Some individual
owners are harder on tractors than renters are.

I DID know of a bad company that went out of biz years ago.....their
stuff was in terrible shape.

The FEL bolts just got loose and never got checked, I will bet. Every
new tractor I have had needs this maintenance (bolt-tightening) more
than older ones.

Just watch how much the hoe flexes while the guy demonstrates it. Painful
for me to watch.
