I need to move this tractor (currently dead) and I can't find anything that tells how to release the pump hydraulic lock so it will roll . . . or will it roll dead? The hydraulic check valves were replaced a couple of years ago and the replacements do not have pressure release buttons as they did on a 129 I had.

On the rear plate there should be a rod to pull out and lock, if not there will be a key hole where a rod is supposed to be.

The 1872 valves (on top of the hydro unit) dont have a release they self release - the older cubs had a pin on the top that required a release lever.

It should push with some resistance - my 1811 - same vintage takes a good push when its cold - easier when it's warmer out. Just dont tow it a distance but pushing it around a 100 feet or so wont damage the hydro.
