Kubota Gran L3540
After cleaning my fuel filter, I forgot to turn the Petcock back on before starting the tractor and only turned it on after the tractor stalled out, and I realized my mistake. I didn’t see a hand pump and tried cranking about a dozen times 3-5 seconds per. However, the tractor would not start.
I pulled the vent tube that returns from the filter assembly to the tank and verified it was clear.
Does anyone know what else I can try before checking the lines at the injectors?

Thanks,
Scott

When I had a Kubota the OM had a procedure for bleeding the fuel system. I don't remember the particulars but it may be worth checking the manual.

There is a bleeder valve on the injection pump. Open the bleeder and crank the engine (not too long or you risk burning up the starter or killing the battery) until it either starts or you don't see air bubbles from the bleeder. Then close the bleeder valve.
It helps to start with a full fuel filter or bowl.

Thanks, I saw what I thought might be a bleeder valve on the injector pump but it had a lot of mud wasp debris and even after cleaning it a bit, I didn’t see a lever to open the valve. I’ll look a little closer.

My Grand L3710 is self priming. Yours is newer than mine, I'd assume it was also self priming. Mine cranks for about 15 seconds before firing off, after a filter change.
