A while back I made a video on how to remove the mower on a BX and a video showing how fast it can be removed. I finally got around to making a video on how to install it and one on how fast it can be installed.

Here is how to install the mower

Here is a video on how fast it can be done.

You've got it down pat for sure!

I think besides the PTO shaft connection, I had a hard time getting the lift arms to "float" down as quickly as yours does. I'm thinking having the knob set to "zero" has something to do with that?

Great videos!

I need more practice before I get to those kind of times...

Thanks for sharing. Hardest part for me is the PTO connection. I usually resort to jacking up the tractor and removing the rear wheel.
You may want to get some work gloves.

When I have am using the mower I turn the 3PH speed all the way up so the deck will drop fast. Having the knob on "0" will not change the drop speed, just have for the deck linkage goes down. In the video that I timed myself on I had the 3PH already down so when I turned the knob to zero it fell instantly.

Great videos!

No problem. A little trick on the PTO shaft is when you remove it do not turn it and do not turn the mid PTO on. That way the splines will be in alignment and go right back on. If you have a blower or broom that runs of the mid PTO this will not be possible. Also be sure the splines on the mid PTO and the PTO shaft are clean. It is not a bad idea to spray them with WD40 while the deck is of the tractor to keep them from rusting.

You got that down pat:thumbsup:

Thanks.
