How to Grapple without a Grapple - Pictures please

I'm finding my adjustable forks that I purchased soon after creating this thread have served me well. Still want a grapple but not high on the priority list. A recent drop of a fir tree and scooping with the forks was as close to grappling I get I guess.

One of the first and best bits of advice I got on TBN was to get a set of pallet forks and try them out before deciding if I needed a grapple. I bought the forks and never went back and got the grapple.

Love my adjustable forks and especially the QA I added when I got them. I can swap out my bucket/forks in a minute so I never hesitate. I am also real happy I opted for adjustable vs. fixed forks.

Here's my "poor man's grapple" for cutting up firewood logs, and my brush forks with a hinged plywood platform.

It seems that I get the most use from the brush forks.
