how to fix husqvarna mz48 zero-turn lawn mower parking brake

My husqvarna mz48 zero-turn lawn mower parking brake is stuck because the gears and levers that link the handle to the brake linkage cable will not engage anymore.
This is the assembly that pushes down the button on the brake safety switch.

Can anyone that owns a husqvarna mz48 zero-turn lawn mower send me a photo of the parking brake linkage both engaged and disengaged.
I am a Vietnam Vet with cancer and I can not figure out how to fix my problem. Meanwhile my grass gets longer and longer.
