Disc Harrow How to determine brand of old disc harrows

I am in the process of rebuilding and old set of disc harrows to use to do deer food plots. Any pointers on how to determine what brand and model? I will post photo soon raining here today otherwise I would post one now.

Color and sometimes design can determine mfg. but so many are made exactly alike that it is hard to make any positive ID unless there are some numbers or tags denoting mfg. The good news is that most all parts are the same and just have to measure axle size/length to get disc parts, blades and bearings.

Disc Harrows are among the most generic of tractor implements.

You can get almost any replacement part, of which pans and bearings are the most needed, from Agri Supply or Shoup. All you need is the ability to measure. Agri Supply has 373 different Disc Harrow pans listed today.
