Can't you omit the dollies and lower the gauge wheels to roll it around?

I use the guage wheels on my box blade too, so I need them to "free" to be removed. The snowmobile dollies on the rear have worked very well. It was just the too low front that was the problem.

Charles, with all that equipment there on the vineyard you haven't gotten yourself a little 110v MIG or fluxcore "glue gun" yet? I'm shocked.

They are very easy to use and practice makes perfect. They are so simple that a welding course is optional. You can get started with a couple of books and an hour or so watching Utube.

I sprung for one a couple of years ago and while I am technically horrible and would never ever post a photo of one of my welds, they do hold and allow both repairs and modifications that are quite nice to be able to do rather than haul your tractor or implement to the dealer. Saves time, especially for us island types.

Tx for the endosement mountainview!

Its really that easy? I figured I'd have to take a course etc. I did put a huge 220 line in the barn I'm building for a proper welder, figured I'd get to it one day. Or I'd have the juice for a sub panel...

no doubt it'd be useful. Though I just found a good welder who will come out!!!! 10 years of looking. I'm sure you understand the excitement.

Good answer.

Just to add to this (hopefully pictures to follow next day or two...)

I made dollies for each implement, the implement dolly for the landscape rake consisted of 3 swivel 4" casters, and a couple 2x4's.. I have a HF quick hitch, so I set the front rake height so that I could easily pick it up, and set it down with the hitch, and never have to 'wrestle' it around. The whole setup cost me about $12 (caster's were $3 each, and $2.xx for an 8' 2x4).. invaluable thus far. ;)
