How much would I notice 11 extra PTO HP?

Generally, a a tractor that is referred to as having a shuttle shift requires depressing the clutch and then flipping the reverser switch. The JD doesn't. It is simply a straight/strict reverser trans. I owned one for quite a while and liked it very much. I have owned ans still own hydro tractors. I am very familiar with both types of trans.
I guess you are only familiar with a mechanical shuttle?? A hydraulic shuttle operates as the JD power reverser does. No clutch pedal required. Both types are available in almost all brands and most models of shuttle trans tractors.

The JD sync reverser was hydraulic or at least partially, but you still had to depress the clutch pedal before shifting from one direction to the other. Back when I had my 4500 with PR trans, I ws told by my dealer no one else has the exact same thing yet. JD had a patent on it for a long time, but it must be up I guess if others are using a totally clutchless reverser now too. I haven't looked at larger CUT's much the last few years.

The Kioti is heavier, 4550lbs + loader vs 4068lbs+ loader for the Massey. Weight is weight and I believe would make your jobs easier.

Filled to 80%, my dealer says that a total of 1550 pounds of Rimguard can be added to all four (industrial) tires upping the weight to 6100 pounds, plus the loader.

Wow, wanting a different tractor already... How about ponying up and buying a John Deere 6150M and never worry about a lack of PTO HP...

I think 11hp at the PTO would make a world of difference! What the heck are you waiting for? Since I'm looking for something with a cab I could, you know, "help you out" and make you a deal on that Massey. :D

Lol ...

GP, I have to stay HST, and I have to keep around 6000 total lbs and be sized accordingly for the work I do with it. I work on a bunch of residential applications so the extra weight and size would be a problem.

Gman, lol thanks! I'll keep that in mind.

---------

I'm leaning towards not making a change cause I really do like this tractor. I might just wait till the warranty is up and sell it then... who knows.

off topic: what kinds of things are you doing with your tractor and from where do you get your insurance?

I've been shopping commercial insurance and I'm experiencing sticker stock considering I really just want to be able to drive 1/2 mile into town to gas up, and I need coverage building a road on an easement, as well as hoping to get some minor for hire work as it comes up with neighbors.

Double trouble, boil and bubble post.

I just grinded two 60" stumps on a job a couple weeks ago, and due to the size of them, I was having to take baby steps on alot of it (due to contact surface volume

Maybe you should consider how often these "large" stumps come up in a year.
If you only get two or three of this size, in a year, and your machine can handle
the rest easily, you should keep what you have and do the baby steps as you indicated.
That is an awfuly large stump to grind, with "any" grinder that's not hydraulically run.
