How much to add hydraulic top cylinder to a 790??

Mostly curious here, but kind of playing with the idea of adding a hydraulic top cylinder to my 790. Anybody have a rough idea how much cost that would be if bought through JD? I am guessing there may be some aftermarket kits for the cylinder itself from other sources that might be a little cheaper? I probably would still have to get the valve body and controls for the extra ports from JD?? How much effort is involved to install one from start to finish?

Do you have power beyond on your 790? I am not sure if a 3rd scv was optional either. Do a search, I know they have been installed on several different models in the last few years. There are some good writeups with good pictures too. JC

Nope, no power beyond on it. It's a 2001 model.

JD Power beyond kit- $220.00

Realistically, you are looking at about +/- $700 to do it yourself. $500 in the valve, and $200 in the cylinder.

I think mine was about:

PB - $220
Top Link - $185
Side Link - $250
Valve - $200
Hoses/fittings - don't remember, less than $200

This is for a top and side link and angle control for my snow plow.

Can certainly do for less than $1000 for a top link. I don't know that JD has a TNT for the 790. I bought from Carter & Carter Machinery.

Sorry kebo, cut short. Power beyond $220.00 single spool valve $100, hoses and couplers ran right around $75.00. So around $400.00 in materials, I doin the work meself. Wich I have done niether yet.......
