Afternoon,

Just curious what the max weight anyone has lifted with their 3pt hitch on a 1700 series - the Tractor Data chart for a new 1725MB shows max lift to be 661 lbs. at 24" and 1191 lbs., "at the ends" , is this accurate, or will it lift say 675 lbs. (tiller & QH, for example)?

TIA,

on a gc2400 with 35lbs of pats hitches (so 4" past the ends) and a 505lb wood tiller (so approx 535 at ends +/- little bit due to centering of pats) I have no issues.
on a gc1710 and the GC2400 (2400 4" past ends again) easily lifted 435lb 5ft box blade.
only thing I've done with the new 1723 (no QH due to backhoe) is lift the 4ft woods RC4 which is approx 410lbs.

never had any issues all rise fast

edit: corrected tiller weight from 535 to 505

I would add, on my gc2400 with pats hitches, the LIGHTER 5ft box blade felt as heavy as the tiller (by tire squat/etc) due to being leveraged out a bit more. but at no time were there any issues lifting, I usually have FEL on but have used both w/o FEL with no issues.

My 1715 can lift a approximate 600lb ballast box with no problem... I bet specs in manual are a bit conservative...

I have a woodmaxx SB-60, 60 inch snowblower (as seen in my avatar)on mine-no issues...rises just like my boxblade and I have it controlled using the 3ph tensioner to slowly drop. My only gripe is that the darn 3ph lever is so low on my right side-makes it a struggle to snowblow-someday soon I will fix this with a modification. The snowblower with electric chute, electric chute deflecter lights added weighs just under 700 pounds.

Sometimes especially when snowblowing heavy wet snow I know for a fact it will have over 100lbs of snow and ice built up in the chamber and around it. Still lifts it like a champ.

so for certain 800 pounds no problem.

I think it can lift over a thousand pounds but you will need more ballast in front than an empty loader. When my snowblower is full of sticky wet snow the front end will be very light so I fill the bucket with heavy wet snow.
