How many of you still own a timing light?

I let mine go at a yard sale 25+ years ago after buying my first new truck, thinking I was done doing my own work. I haven't missed it yet. ;- )
I have to admit automobile dependability has improved in the last 20 years.
Lately I've been thinking about an older pickup with a dump kit for occasional use, and also a pre 60 Ford for a second tractor. Sometimes it's nice to return to my roots.

I have several...you keep and restore old Ford muscle cars and it's a necessity.

I still have one as well as a vacuum gage and points & dwell insturment.

I own a 1970 Opel GT, and 1978 Datsun RV.

as well as a vacuum tube tester I must admit I haven't used that in years.

Mine is over 30 years old and the last use was for a 8n trouble shooting it 5 or 6 years ago it was just the ticket just clip the coil wire to see if that is working yep then clip it on the plug to see if the plug was getting juice and it wasn't bad wire.

I actually used mine yesterday on my 87 Toyota 4WD ranch truck. No computers or sensors to mess with. 220,000 miles on it and runs like a top after I knocked the guts out of the clogged catalytic converter, put in new plugs and reset the timing.

Sorry, guess I missed the sale or something on this one. Have most everything but never had a timing light. Good thing I had a friend that had one.
