Kubota M7060
Hello, I purchased a New Kubota M7060 HDC12 with LA1154 loader last August of 2017. After I got it home I noticed that the loader had several imperfections. (The right side loader bracket had been flared out at the top pin area, the left side bucket tilt cylinder bushing weld bung was crooked on the end, a large ugly manual weld over the top of a beautiful robotic weld on right loader frame, poor bucket side reinforcement fitment, left side plate of bucket two ugly manual welds).
Now I have previously been a John Deere man my whole life (purchased four John Deere tractors since 1999). I kept wanting a larger tractor and this dealer had told me that Kubota had stepped up and there quality was number 1. I really liked how the M7060 looked at this dealers lot.
Now I went back to the dealer to talk about the loader in late September of 2017 and he said if you are not happy I will get you a new loader in the crate. I said that would be OK with me. Here it is 22-Feb-18 and still no loader. The dealer did not even call me or send me an email to let me know where we were with things. I have had to call the dealer myself every time to find out anything about this. I have also purchased a large zero turn mower from this dealer along with several other tractor implements throughout the years. I just need some of you guys advice about how long should I wait before I speak up or contact Kubota? :( Thanks

I would call Kubota TODAY!
Better yet: Send them an E-mail,..... and do ALL tractor related correspondence via E-Mail.
That way you will have a complete printed record of what has been said.

Speak up now. Go down to the dealer and stand right in front of his desk until you get the answer you need and were promised. He may say it wasn't really a promise but a passing thought and you will have to straighten him out. He is counting on you just forgetting about it. The squeaky wheel gets the most grease, you know.

I'd suggest reading through the replies to the above recent thread. If nothing else it will give you an idea of how not to handle issues with any tractor company.
And, I'd start making notes about your concerns to refer to later. Go see your dealer, ask for immediate action and his email address. Tell him you will wait no longer for him to take care of the situation you brought to his attention last August, and you want to know when he expects to have your replacement loader at his shop for exchange. You can call, and visit, but let him know from now on you will no longer sit by the phone waiting for it to ring. As evidenced to date, he has done absolutely NOTHING to resolve your concerns.

How long should you wait.......................I wouldn't have waited this long.

I would go back to your dealer and ask him the status of your "new loader". If he can't give you a satisfactory answer, I would contact Kubota directly and politely explain the whole situation right from the beginning to the present time. All through email, for the record, as others have suggested.

Very disappointing to hear such shoddy construction of the original new loader from Kubota.

SEND E-mails to your dealer!
Send E-mails to Kubota!
Store/save all E-mails !
If you don't do E-mails, it just becomes "he said" - "she said" - "they said"!

Hello, Thanks for all the replies. I thought it was time to do something! I forgot to tell you all that because of the replacement loader coming, supposedly...I have not used the tractor because I did not want the loader to be used. It has been sitting in my garage since August of 2017.

Yikes! Now it's even more ridiculous that you've waited this long. Go kick some Kubotie butt, and take names and never take anyone's word until they deliver a new loader, or at the very least a loader off a new model on the dealer's lot, that you inspect before agreeing to swap them out.:duh:

So the current loader is a little ugly, but functional, correct? Well, I would just use the current loader and put the hours on that one. The new one will be that much sweeter when you get it.

As far as the dealer goes, put a bug in his ear about once a week. He'll get tired of it and get you an answer.

All of what I said goes out the window if the tractor/loader is unusable. Then I would be ticked..
