Mihindra 2516 R4"s, loader, gear drive w/shuttle $12,485. I pick up 2.5 hrs away. I will have to pay tax 6% in PA. Ouch $749.10 for a total $13,242.10.

If they deliver the tractor to you, you may be PA sales tax exempt under the interstate commerce rules and If you are a qualified farmer, you should be clear on the Deleware sales tax as well. I sure don't know for sure, just pondering the thought. Ken Sweet

u may be clear on sales tax but what about usage tax i know they have it in louisiana and that means if u buy something out of state and bring it back but u have to pay a usage tax on the purchase since u didn't pay sales tax in the state it even aplys if u pay sales tax in another state u still have to pay usage tax

I don't know about usage, I was thinking farmers were exempt from sales and usage, I don't know for sure? Ken Sweet

I think if you can prove to the PA dealer that you are not a PA resident you should not have to pay PA sales tax.
I bought a trailer in PA and did not pay sales tax in PA. I had to pay sales tax in my own state when I registered the trailer.
I doubt you have to register your tractor in your state so you shouldn't have to pay.
Let us know how you made out.

Trailer you would have to pay regular county's sale tax. In California I paid 2.5% farm equipment tax for my tractor that it. each county is a little different
