How do you protect your PTO shaft when it's not being used?

Not for these people, it has to be polished, lubed, covered & kept in a climate controlled building with a cement floor.
It needs to be insured and alarms on the tractor & building.

Good point. It was a lot easier with my old tractor, when it was dry and rusty so that I had to use vise grips and my two lb hammer to get the implement shafts on and off.

I usually remove whatever implement Ive been using when Im done with it. But if you used the same one for a long time I could see some corrosion setting up.
I would use a wax based chain lube like I use on other pivot areas on my three point. It doesnt attract dirt or debris.
