I have notices several posts that have the picture showing in the post without having to open the attachment.
"How do it know?"
"How do it know?"
The ones I like best are the Photobucket ones that are clickable to get a bigger image.gotrocks said:Thanks, Jeff and Dudley,
Yep, I know what you mean about slow loading, it has not been that long since I was on dial up.
If I decide to try one I'll try to make it small.

How to place an image inside a post.
1. Take the picture.
2. Resize it with some type of resizing program. I use Photoshop but there are lots of free ones. (This one is popular Click Here). Make sure the picture is a JPEG and less than 200kb in size. I prefer to resize to 680X452 that works well.
3. Sign up for one of the free hosting sites. I prefer PhotoBucket. http://s207.photobucket.com/ The first time you have to set up an account but after that it is quick and easy.
4. Upload the picture to Photobucket.
5. Under each picture that you upload to Photobucket there will be 4 choices that you can click on. Click the one marked IMG Code. This will automatically load/copy the correct command into your clipboard. If you do not use Photobucket there should be a similar choice from the site that you use. Look for IMG Code.
6. Start the thread that you wish to post. Enter your text and when you are ready to enter the picture simply paste the photobucket IMG Code command into the post. You can use Edit>paste or Ctrl V. In a few seconds it will appear in the body of the text and/or you can use the preview command to view your post. NOTE: You do not use the manage attachments function that you use to attach pictures you simply paste the phobucket command into the body of your post.
