How Do You Get Driveway Gravel Out of Grassy Areas?

Eventually the grass grows around it and you can ignore it.

I only see that along the road easements. If its bad with humps that will interfere with your mower then I run my blade over it to smooth the humps. If it's really bad I complain at the township and the roads guys power broom it.

Echo power paddle for me. As well as the gravel I've put on my grass the ^%$^&**( highways seems to like putting the shoulder gravel 10' onto my lawn. Yes 10', no exaggeration, the road shoulders in front of my place that used to have a minor grade toward the ditch are now sloped so bad I'm nervous driving my tractor on the shoulder.
As for the power paddle, it works great. Someone said leave it there, the grass will grow over it, until that happens how do you mow it without flinging stones everywhere? I've already go two spots on my garage where rocks have hit it and holed the siding.............Mike

How aggressive do you plow? I barely have gravel on my grass yet I know how much to plow. I don’t plow aggressively when the ground isn’t frozen. Instead, I flip the back blade around only when needed and after compacting the first snow layer.

I use a FEL mounted plow equipped with shoes. I can adjust the blade angle to be as aggressive as I want. The problem is, the road is rough and very steep in places. I have to remove as much snow as possible to keep delivery vehicles & visitors from getting stuck. I also spread cinders which aren't very effective on top of a layer of snow.

I've been doing this for 35 years now and as @Industrial Toys suggests, this plowed stone issue is normally just a nuisance. This year however has been one of the worst I've seen.

I don't have a problem just using my boxblade angled back a little bit with the hydraulic toplink if there is much or larger stones. The small stuff disappears pretty quickly when the grass starts to grow again. I do the same with adding dirt to low spots in my yard during grass season - especially where hard-shell 'possums have been digging at night.
