How Do You Deal With Tailgaters?

Never worry about chickens, they run into the front wheel, spin around a few times, get spit out by the back wheel, and just keep right on going.
Aside from running into a pack of badgers (which oddly enough ended well) I can relate to things getting caught in the front wheel spokes.

In my case it was a snake, which after a few revolutions came out and barely missed my right ear. Sure glad it didn't wrap around my neck instead.

When I collided with a deer at about 45 MPH while riding my BMW, I wound up in hospital with 14 broken ribs, broken shoulder blade and collar bone, collapsed lung and lots of road rash but the deer wasn't so lucky.
Were you riding a motorcycle?

I had a deer that was standing near the 55mph highway actually try to head butt my car as i drove by. My uncle had warned me about that section of the highway. He even told me the deer would sometimes turn and head toward you car.
I shot a buck a decade or so ago that had a Ford blue oval insignia skewered by one of the tines on his antlers. Maybe this explains how it got there.

It wasn't a revenge killing though, since I drive a Chevy

How do you know that your speedometer registers exactly the speed limit? I drove my company Tundra for over a year before realizing it
My GMC 2500 has taller tires than stock, so technically I figure I am going 9% over based on circumference anyway.
