how do i set injection pump timing on a MF 230 with 152 diesel

I have a MF230 I have been rebuilding and I was hoping someone could tell me how to set the injector pump timing, the injector pump was turned and am sure it is not timed.

I have all the timing gears timed on mark and the #1 cylinder on TDC


I have done the timing on the pump on a case FA 656 with no issues by setting the engine on #1 and timing the injector pump via the window on the side,

so my question would be is the Massey Ferguson 230 with the 3 cyl. 152 Perkins diesel engine the same proses on setting the injection pump timing.
