I have a Phantom 3 Pro, 4k camera. While I have had lots of fun with it and taken many photos that I can send by e mail. The videos are to large to send. I have edited them down to the point where they are useless to send.
I have tried a google search and the sites are not very user friendly for a person at the beginner level.

I have seen several long videos posted on TBN and would like to know how it is done. I need simple instructions or a site that is a basic starter one to get me going.

Warning
I am not great at computers and some terminology will fly over my head. :confused3:

Hi Al. Learn to post to Youtube. Then just post that link. You can upload very large files that way.

Thank You
Something I will have to look into to see how it is done.

It's not hard... I think you just have to create a youtube/google account. Then upload to your 'channel'. Some people get pretty serious about their channel and generate some cash if they get enough views and subscribers but I use it for random sharing. Not interested in regular posting and a loyal following. I'm not that exciting.

The videos that your phone device records while flying are much smaller files than the 4k videos your quad records on the SD card.

They will send easier and faster. They also will fill-up your phones memory so you need to delete them or move them at some point.

Uploading to YouTube is a good way to save those giant 4k files. You also don't have to make them public if you don't want them all being seen but you can edit them at any time.

Uploading full 4k files can take hours so be prepared for that.

In addition to You-Tube I use a free App called DropBox. Installed on your phone it automatically saves photos and videos to the cloud. Then they are available on any other device with the same program. Tablet, PC etc. You can create a public folder and share the link so others can view or download the files.

Last year I took a bunch of photos at the World Bench Rest Shooting Federation match held at my club. Sent the link to my friends in Australia and they downloaded what they wanted. Very little effort on my part was required.

Drop box is great but the free version will only hold maybe one half of a 4k dji video. You can upgrade to the 35 gig account for a few bucks a month.

YouTube is kind of a great way to store free videos.

Make a short video, say like 30 seconds.

Create a YouTube account.

Upload the video. Play with the settings.

Don't worry about the content of the first video as you can delete the video in YouTube's video manager tab.

The point is to give you something to play with so you gain experience with YouTube.

Embedding videos is easy on TBN. Select the link of the YouTube video you wish to embed on a post. While typing a post, select the video icon. A pop-up comes up where you cut and paste in your YouTube link.

Tkx for the tips.
I did manage to send one to my wife's computer through my phone. About a 25 second video but I had to use my company e mail account as the personal one would not support that much data. But it worked.
Next will be the You Tube and get a account on it. I will need young IT to change something as when I create a account it has the company name on it and I can't change it.
I agree that putting a video on youtube and then play around with it would be the best way to learn.
