How do I get rid of the flop in a cx200 fel???

I don't follow the question. Are you asking if I try to lift the 200 lb bucket when my tractor is off to see if there's flip? If so, the answer is I have and would never try that.

Just out of curiousity, is it the QA bucket that flops? Are you sure the pins aren't loose?

Bucket flop is a common problem with regen.

If you have air in the cyl caused by the regen mode, you need to extend and retract the cyl until the relief comes on, and do this several times.

If the air is in the cyl, you should be able to lift the edge of the bucket with your hand about 6 in, and this will go away with an air purge. Cycle the cyl fully many times.

If you pause and hold the lever when dumping, the fluid will catch up and maybe not cavitate which causes air.

Some tractors may have a lock out function for regen, and if you don't need fast dump, then select the non regen mode.

When its parked on the gararge floor, if I step on the edge of the bucket it flops down, is this normal. Its just an observation, my actual problem is the flop when I'm operating the fel.

The flop is in the cylinders as I can see the movements. I don't think there's any wear at the pins. Tractor has only 200 hours.

Rather than try to pick up the bucket, just dump it till the bucket blade is vertical with the bucket blade lip about shoulder high. You should then comfortably be able to push the bucket back and forward without lifting any weight. If it moves excessively, then you can look for where the movement is: pins or cylinders? Just be careful to not expose your body to the possibility of the FEL falling, a rare occurence but possible.

I'm pretty sure the Regen is locked out, I have to crawl underneath the tractor to chech the lock out bracket to confirm.

So if I understand correctly, fully cycling the fel should remove the air. Is there any reason why cycling not remove ALL the air?

Cycling the cyl should purge the air, but if you have a suction leak, or generating air by relief valve cavitation, you are constantly adding air to the hyd system. That means that you will have to constantly purge the air from the cyl for efficient operation.
