I had adjusted mine several times over 10 years and ran out of adjustment. The belt was actually worn a little thinner, so time for a new one. It's a metric sized belt and the angle of each side is different than standard American 3L, 4L, 5L, etc. If you have a knowledgeable person behind the auto parts counter, they can match it up. For me, no knowledgeable person so I went with a factory Kioti belt. It's really not hard to change other than a few skinned knuckles. Loosen the alternator bolt. Push alternator all the way in towards the engine. Take belt off alternator, water pump, and crank pully. You'll have just enough room to work it over the fan, a few blades at a time, and between the radiator, pulling it all out at the same point/place. For me, it was on the left side. Reverse to reinstall. 2004 CK30hst.
