How could Artificial Intelligence become dangerous?

Now we're getting back into the realm of Nemoy and Asimov.

The emphasis of Nemoy and Hari Seldon was to improve the human condition. But today? Who knows. I don't see that emphasis in AI development.

there was an obvious bot in a motorcycle cycle feed that I follow. It was an obvious bot. AI generated photo of a young woman that needed help fixing her FIRST time bike, the bike photo was easily found as a sales photo on google photo search, a full bagger Harley that was sold two years ago. I just laughed at this. But then the next day, it had 60 or so responds. Guys, trying to be helpful. LOL... Not a one of them seeing it was a BOT.

Imagine, one day a century or two after AI/bots have eradicated the human race. One clever bot, in a ploy for supemacy, invents a self-replicating carbon based somewhat intelligent form of life. Hmmm, the possibilities are endless!

Nice thing about this scenario....
